Vandalism Cases

Source: LoopZilla via flickrAt Parrott Partnership, we've had a lot of calls for help from victims affected by antisocial behaviour. In many cases, groups of young people have been congregating near to properties, generally due to a lack of amenities and places for them to meet away from housing estates and developments. Oftentimes alcohol induced dares and pranks can follow, or groups, especially in winter, will light small fires to keep warm and either the pranks get out of control or in an attempt to keep the wind from blowing out fires, they're built close to property borders without thought for fence panels and sheds that are very close to said fires and end up becoming the perfect fuel.

There are of course also sad situations where damage is malicious, either victimising particular families and causing distress, or again, pranks and games that go too far. Families that have fallen victim to either arson attacks, accidental fire damage or vandalism to their properties come to us to help them claim back the money they end up having to pay out to replace garden buildings such as sheds, and to install new fencing where panels are damaged beyond repair. Sadly we struggle to heal the emotional scars caused by such attacks but we do everything in our power to help these residents gain closure on these unfortunate events.
